JOB OPENING:

ADMINISTRATOR, F.T.:
The Administrator is responsible for directing and evaluating short and long range planning; making recommendations and preparing plans of action regarding priorities; and working closely with the Board of Directors in the process of development and implementation of such plans.  Coordinates all resources including manpower, facilities, revenue or earnings, which includes grant writing, grants and contracts from county, state, and federal agencies and/or corporate foundation grants, private donations and any other resources.  Serves as principle advisor to the Board of Directors in all issues related to the Health Care of the Indian people.  Qualifications:  Not less than three(3) years experience after graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in one of the following:
  A.A  Public Health
  A.B  Business Administration (MBA)
  A.C  Hospital Administration
  A.D  Public Administration
A Master’s Degree can be substituted with a Bachelors Degree and five (5) years of responsible management experience in a public health or health services agency of which at least three (3) years must have included responsibility both for directing the activities of subordinate managers and for managing program budgeting, staffing and coordination with other health service programs.  Ability and cultural sensitivity to work well with the tribe and the Indian people served by the program.  Preference will be given to qualified Native Americans in accordance with P.L. 93-638.
