Financial Controller- Salary: Grade 12. Schedule: M-F, 8am- 5pm. Position based in Burney, Ca. The Financial Controller is responsible for the financial stability and accountability of all program activities, to develop, implement and maintain the Fiscal Policies and Procedures, to maintain internal fiscal controls with professional accounting standards, to maintain accurate financial records, to ensure compliance of reporting requirements, to assist with the preparation and revision of budgets, to coordinate audits, to supervise, monitor and evaluate the duties, responsibilities and performance of the Fiscal Department staff. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or Business Administration. Two years experience in non-profit, private or government health care organization performing similar duties. Ability to maintain financial stability and internal fiscal controls to assure compliance with established standards, policies and procedures.
Health Administrator: Salary: Grade 13. Schedule: M-F, 8am- 5pm. Position based in Burney, Ca. The purpose of the work is to administer and direct the program to fulfill the Pit River Health Service, Inc.=s primary mission of delivering the highest possible quality of preventative, curative and rehabilitative health care to the Indian people served. Ensure compliance with all applicable IHS and legal requirements. Responsible for overall administration and management of the health care delivery system that includes direct care services, contractual services, facilities planning and development. The Administrator serves as the organization=s representative at the local, regional and national levels of the health care industry. The Administrator is responsible for directing and evaluating short and long-range planning; making recommendations and preparing plans of action regarding priorities; and working closely with the Board of Directors in the process of development and implementation of such plans. Coordinates all resources including manpower, facilities, revenue or earnings, which include grant writing, grants and contracts from county, state, and federal agencies and/or corporate foundation grants, private donations, and any other resources. Serves as principle advisor to the Board of Directors in all issues related to the Health Care of the Indian people. Not less than three (3) years experience after graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master=s Degree in one of the following: Public Health, Business Administration (MBA), Hospital Administration, Public Administration. A Master=s Degree can be substituted with a Bachelors Degree and five (5) years of responsible management experience in a public health or health services agency of which at least three (3) years must have included responsibility both for directing the activities of subordinate managers and for managing program budgeting, staffing and coordination with other health service programs. Experience with Pit River Health Service, Inc. operations may be acceptable in lieu of formal education requirements.
Staff Dentist: Salary: Negotiable. Position is based in Burney, Ca. Plans and implements Dental Program in conjunction with Dental Director which includes preventative education and corrective dental services to eligible persons within the scope of the contract. Provide routine dental services: General restorative procedures, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Supervise dental staff in conjunction with Dental Director. Keep Dental Director abreast of current activities, situations, accomplishments, etc. in the Dental Department. Graduation from an ADA-accredited Dental School with DDS and D.M.D. degree. Graduate of college or university with B.S. or BA degree or higher. Current State of California Dental license. Current DEA Certificate. Current certificate on radiographic safety and procedure. Possess a current CPR card. At least one year professional or practical experience, internship, or residency training. Experience with child dentistry is ideal.
Behavioral Health Director (LCSW): An active member of an interdisciplinary team providing prevention, intervention, and mental health treatment services to clients. Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the psycho social component. Provide case management, individual and family counseling. Team with other providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Masters Degree from an accredited college or university. License required: LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist. Experience in mental health field is mandatory. Sensitive to Indian culture and tradition. Experience with low income and culturally diverse people. Communicate effectively with people of varied professional backgrounds.
PT Escort Driver: Salary: Grade 3. Schedule: M, F 8am-5pm. Provide transportation to eligible Native Americans in the designated service delivery area according to the Transportation Policies on an as-needed basis. Transport patients to and from approved appointments. Assist patients in/out of vehicles as necessary. Coordinate scheduling in Master Transportation Log with Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health and Medical Receptionist and Contract Health Services.
